William Putt graduates from University of North Georgia

William Jarrett Putt of Cumming, Georgia, graduated from the University of North Georgia (UNG) during the fall 2016 semester and has earned the Bachelor of Arts in History. Putt, who earned a total of three degrees, also earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs-Middle East concentration and a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages/Arabic.

"We are here to honor you with the richest tradition in the academic community - a commencement ceremony," UNG President Bonita Jacobs said before conferring degrees at ceremonies held Dec. 16-17 at the university. "We all know what it took for you to reach this moment. We know that, as graduates of UNG, you will add meaning and value to the lives of those around you. Our hopes and dreams are with you. Congratulations on this important milestone."
