William Putt commissions as a second lieutenant

In ceremonies held Dec. 16-17 at the University of North Georgia, graduating cadets were awarded commissions as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army or Georgia National Guard.

William J. Putt of Cumming, Georgia, earned a bachelor's degree and commissioned in the Army Military Intelligence/Infantry. Putt's parents are William & Gayle Putt. Putt graduated from Liberty High School.
