Nathan Patterson commissions as second lieutenant

In ceremonies held Aug. 2 at the University of North Georgia (UNG), graduating cadets were awarded commissions as second lieutenants in the U.S. armed forces.

Nathan I. Patterson of Acworth, Georgia, earned a bachelor's degree and commissioned as a second lieutenant in Georgia National Guard-Military Intelligence. Patterson is the child of Ollie and Anna Patterson and graduated from The King's Academy in Woodstock, Georgia, in 2012.
