Jackson C. Smith commissions as second lieutenant

In ceremonies held May 9, 2014, at the University of North Georgia, graduating cadets were awarded commissions as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army or Georgia National Guard.

Jackson C. Smith earned a bachelor's degree and commissioned in the Georgia National Guard Aviation. Smith's parents are James C. Stephens of Bonaire, Georgia, and Megan H. Smith of Alexandria, Virginia. Smith graduated from Warner Robins High School in Warner Robins, Georgia in 2009. Smith currently is assigned to Alpha Company 1/171 Aviation, Dobbins Air Force Base, Marietta, Georgia.
