Cody Holwell commissions as second lieutenant

In ceremonies held Friday, Dec. 11, 2015, at the University of North Georgia, graduating cadets were awarded commissions as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army or Georgia National Guard.

Cody C. Holwell of Dacula, Georgia, earned a bachelor's degree and commissioned in the Georgia National Guard-Military Police. Holwell's parents are Stanley and Samantha Holwell. Holwell graduated from Dacula High School in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2011. Holwell was Distinguished Military Student.
