Christie R. Wintersgill commissions as second lieutenant

In ceremonies held August 2, 2014, at the University of North Georgia (UNG), graduating cadets were awarded commissions as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army or Georgia National Guard.

Christie R. Wintersgill earned a Bachelor of Science and commissioned in the U.S. Army Ordnance Corps. Wintersgill's parents are John A. and Joanna Winersgill of Dahlonega, Georgia . Wintersgill graduated from South Forsyth High School in Cumming, Georgia in 2010.

UNG is a University System of Georgia leadership institution and is The Military College of Georgia. With more than 16,000 students, UNG is the state's sixth-largest public university.
