Andrew Friesen II commissions as second lieutenant

In ceremonies held Friday, Dec. 11, 2015, at the University of North Georgia, graduating cadets were awarded commissions as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army or Georgia National Guard.

Andrew R. Friesen II of Suches, Georgia, earned a bachelor's degree and commissioned in the U.S. Army-Chemical Corps. Friesen II's parents are Andrew and Anne Friesen. Friesen II graduated from Woody Gap High School in Suches, Georgia, in 2011. Friesen was a Distinguished Military Graduate.
